India's Forex Reserves Decrease

 

(.forexfounders News) - India's foreign exchange reserves decreased as on week ended December 17 from the previous week, a latest report by the Reserve Bank of India showed Friday.

Foreign exchange reserves totaled $294.6 billion, down from $295.41 billion, as on December 10.

Foreign currency assets amounted to $265.4 billion, also down from $266.2 billion recorded in the previous week. At the same time, gold reserves remained unchanged at $22.12 billion.

Meanwhile, the nation's reserve position in the International Monetary Fund stayed at $1.97 billion.
